The Refundable Security Deposit is only a temporary hold on the accepted card. Return the car without missing fuel, fines or charges, and the deposit will be returned to your account. Once you return the car without toll charges, fines or missing fuel the deposit will be returned to your account.

Driver's age

24 to 79 years.

Young driver's age: 21 to 23 years.

Senior driver's age.: 80 to 99 years.

Customers who fall outside the age limitations will not be able to hire a car unless there is a young or senior driver fee specified in this section. Please note that if applicable, this fee will be included in the rental price and will be payable on arrival at the rental desk in the local currency.

When the correct age of the hirer is entered when requesting a quote from the website, the Young Driver Surcharge and Senior Driver Surcharge is included in the rate provided.

Travel Restrictions

Cross border travel is allowed but is strictly on a request service and available for the countries listed below only – surcharges apply. Charge applies per country.

Latvia – €50

Estonia - €100

Poland - €400

All other locations are forbidden.

A penalty of €1500 will apply in the event of unauthorised border crossing. Please note that not all countries have physical border control between countries. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that they do not cross the border into another country and to remain on the lookout for border boundaries when travelling near other country borders.

A KM Limit of 120KM per day applies. If the hirer exceeds the daily KM allowance for cross border travel, a fee of 0.5 EUR per KM will apply.

Breakdown assistance

Breakdown assistance is included with this car. In case of emergency during business hours, call the number provided by your car hire supplier and they will send help. Assistance outside of business hours may incur an extra charge. Please note that this only covers mechanical failure.

Unlimited mileage

Unlimited mileage with this rental means you can drive as much as you want, with no additional charges for extra kilometres.

Collision damage waiver (CDW)

Often referred to as CDW, this partially covers damages incurred to your vehicle. Please note that you will still be liable for insurance excess (see: Not Included section below). CDW does not cover damage or loss of keys, tyres, glass or undercarriage.

Theft waiver (TW)

This covers costs relating to the theft or attempted theft of the rental vehicle but does not cover the loss of personal possessions. Please note that you will still be liable for insurance excess (see below).

Third party liability protection (TP)

This covers damage sustained to another driver’s car in the event of an accident caused by you.

AXA Damage Refund Insurance

You have purchased AXA Damage Refund insurance to cover your excess, you do not need to buy another policy to cover your excess at the desk, but if you do so, we’ll refund you the cost of the AXA policy provided there have been no claims. Refer to the policy T&Cs for the refund process.
